Mumps Antibody - IgM

Mumps antibody IgM test is used for diagnosing an ongoing or active measles infection. Mumps, a viral disease mostly affects the salivary glands, making the checks look puffier and the jaw, swollen. On exposure to any antigen, antibodies are produced. IgM antibodies are mostly the first to be produced by the body and their presence signify current or recent exposure to the virus.
